PRESENTATIONS GIVEN BY EXPERTS:
Josh Miller
Josh Miller recently released his first book, a comprehensive volume titled, Euro Nymphing. Tips, Tactics and Techniques through Stackpole. He was a member of the Fly Fishing Team USA from 2016 through 2020, and as head coach of the USA Fly Fishing Youth Team as they won 2 consecutive team gold medals in the 2023 (Bosnia) and 2024 (Czechia) World YFF Championships. Miller is a full-time guide and traveling instructor and is a signature tier. He lives with his wife, Sarah, son and newborn daughter, in western Pennsylvania. Josh is eager to share his experiences and knowledge gained while fishing with some of the world’s best anglers.
Tim Cammisa
Tim Cammisa, the force behind "Trout and Feather," has dedicated over a decade to producing educational fly-tying and fly-fishing videos, enriching enthusiasts worldwide. With a background as a seasoned fly-fishing guide and teacher, Tim is a sought-after presenter and tier at prestigious events like The Fly Fishing Show and International Fly Tying Symposium, as well as club gatherings nationwide.
His passion for angling transcends borders, leading fly-fishing trips to coveted destinations like Iceland and Alaska. Tim’s first book, Fly Tying for Everyone, covers a wide range of topics essential for mastering the art of fly tying, including materials, tools, techniques, and patterns. His second book, Tying Euro Nymphs and Other Competition Favorites, focuses on the popular style of Euro nymphing and the flies being used by today’s top competitors.
Tim resides in Harmony, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Heather, and their children, Angelo and Fina. Tim will be presenting “Rising to the Occasion: Mastering Dry Flies and Emergers”; “Fly Fishing in Montana and Iceland” and giving casting demos on the lawn!!
Jamie SanFilippo
Jamie is the owner of American Fly Fishing Company. She is a certified Fly Fishing Guide and Fishing Skills Instructor through the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and is currently a Board Member and past President of the Spring Creek Chapter of Trout Unlimited. She is a Streamside Mentor for the Veteran Service Program of Spring Creek TU and is also involved with many fly fishing camps and programs for women and children of all ages throughout the year. Jamie has been mentored by Joe Humphreys and her favorite style of fly fishing is tight line nymphing. Jamie will teaching “Build On-Water Confidence Through Versatility and Efficiency” as well as offering a group casting lesson.
Shawn Holsinger
Shawn is owner and operator of Holsinger's Guide Service has been fly fishing the streams of Western Central Pennsylvania for over 30 years. Being blessed to be raised in the limestone rich mountains of the area, has offered many fishing opportunities in some incredibly trout-rich waters. His home is centrally located between the famed Little Juniata and very popular Yellow Creek of Bedford County. This area is also home to some incredible Class A wild trout water as well, which is where Shawn's true passion is when it comes to fly fishing.
Shawn is also on the Pro Staff of his father's business, www.holsingersflyshop.com located in East Freedom, Pennsylvania on the banks of the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata. Part of his work in the fly shop includes his very popular YouTube channel, Holsinger's Fly Shop. Between the fly shop and his YouTube channel, he has had many opportunities to fly fish in some great locations, such as, Colorado for large cutthroats, Alaska for salmon, West Virginia and Maryland for trout, and Lake Erie and Ontario for lake run steelhead, browns and salmon.
Mark Signorino
Mark is a Fly Fishers International Certified Casting Instructor from Erie PA. He is involved with the Gem City Outdoorsmen Fly Tiers, FFI Affiliate club Keystone Fly Fishers and a 2-time past President of the Pennsylvania Steelhead Association.
He has competed in several casting events for the Pittsburgh Casting Club, associated with the American Casting Association and is a volunteer with Project Healing Waters. Mark will be teaching a class on “Fly Casting 101” and Offering Casting Demos the lawn.
TYERS ROW
Expert fly tyers will be set up throughout the day, offering live demonstrations and hands-on instruction as part of the festival activities!

Whether you're looking to upgrade your gear or pass along well-loved equipment, our Fly Fishing Angler Consignment Sale is the perfect opportunity. Participate in this unique booth by bringing your rods, reels, waders, packs, tying tools, vintage finds, and more! Clean out your gear room! Bring gently used, good-condition fly fishing items and let us help you find them a new home. Whether you're selling, buying, or both, this is your chance to connect with fellow anglers and stock up for your next adventure on the water.
Just drop your items off at the consignment booth for the day and we will take care of the rest! 10% off all sales will go back into the Festival fund to aid in hosting future fly fishing events.
When the fishing activities wrap up, the festivities keep flowing with an evening concert, bringing the community together for music, food, and relaxation. Share your fishing stories and good times with good tunes and great company. A true Bedford County experience where the river meets the rhythm.
